Twitter has allowed tweets that encourage violence to not only be posted, but to be shared hundreds of times without being removed or “muted” for violating polices or laws. A simple search for the name of many local shopping districts during a protest unfortunately showed a slew of tweets that exposing Twitter’s fluctuating sensitivity to what they interpret as “encouraging violence”.
