Before George Floyd was pinned to the ground by a cop’s knee and ultimately killed , he was cuffed by a different officer and seemed to be cooperating according to new surveillance footage. A nearby restaurant, Dragon Wok, captured the initial moments of George’s run-in with Minneapolis police on a camera set up outside.
The press conference livestream appears to show Engel asking to speak at the event before telling a local official: “If I didn’t have a primary I wouldn’t care.”
“So let’s do this another way,” Terrence Floyd said at the Minneapolis memorial to his brother. “Let’s stop thinking that our voice don’t matter and vote.”
